Quality Management
Safety in the workplace is Tartan’s highest priority and
is an essential element of our company culture. Tartan’s safety program is built on a strong foundation, which is supported
by the following three key components:
Management visibility helps to ensure that safety is stressed throughout the company, from the leadership team and safety management group, to the site superintendents and foreman, and the on-site workers.
Individual responsibility means that safety is not only an important component of each employee’s job description, it also guides and defines the behavior of everyone who is performing work on-site.
Tartan has been a member of the Partnerships in Health and Safety program since 1993, and is an Associate Member of the Alberta Construction Safety Association and an IRP 16 Registry Member. Tartan’s reputation for safety has also been acknowledged by Work Safe Alberta, through their BEST SAFETY PERFORMER AWARD program.
